As part of the 2014 Society for Historical Archaeology’s annual convention, taking place in Québec city from the 8 to 11 of January, we have presented 2 conferences. The first session focused on 10 years of 3D scanning implemented in different archaeological contexts, than fell within the session «New Ways of Seeing the Past: Using New Technologies in Archaeology ».
The second was called: « The Empress of Ireland and other Quebec wrecks surveyed by real-time 3D sonar. » and was part of the session: « What’s in the Toolbox? A Critical Look at Remote Sensing and Recording Systems Used for Underwater Archaeology ».
iSCAN 3D also participated at the expositor’s salon in booth 3 for the duration of the convention.
A special invitation for the public was released for the afternoon of 11th January.
